After a weekend of hard work and intermittent thunderstorms, we had a wonderful opportunity to spend some time outdoors exploring the yard. We were greeted immediately by an armada of shelled friends. I had never actually held a snail before, but I am incredibly happy to bridged that gap! It was an incredibly strange and beautiful sensation to behold. Feeling the snail gradually crawl up my arm, it slowly but steadily making progress. It all forced me to take a moment to appreciate where I was. Not just in the world, but in life.
It is so easy to get caught up in the business of the world. To become so focused on making it through the week that you don’t see the beauty that comes in every single day. I personally have been focused on getting by that I haven’t paid any attention to the things that truly matter around me. It is so easy to get forget that God put us on this planet for a reason. To love Him, love each other, and love this planet. Be a steward not only to nature, but also to your fellow man. Enjoy the pictures I took of our little friends. Thank you for reading and God Bless You.
